BAT CAMP IN ROMANIA

Within the framework of the BAT4 MAN project, Bat Conservation camps were organized by the E-Consult Association in July.  40 children were participated in two camps.

These camps were exciting to the participants, because during these days they had possibility to get aware on the importance of bats, they could learn about bats in the frame of a their natural environment and special habitats. They have been walked in the forests, orchards, riverbanks, climbing hills, discovering forests of Satu Mare and Maramures.

During these field days the young were acquainted with the amazing power of the nature, learned about bats by exciting team games, socialization plays, skill games and handicraft activities.

There were also highlighted the threats — the vulnerability of bats, as well as importance of the protection of these small mammals!
